For this project I replaced windows, replaced the front door, replaced bad siding and then painted the exterior.
For this project I poured two cement slabs, ripped out the old stairs and built new stairs on the slabs.
I took a wood working class where I built a cutting board and a shaker table.
I built this project as a mother day gift.
After going to the MN Zoo and walking through the butterfly house exhibit I thought it would be neat to build a house to attract butterflies around my gardens.
A couple of springs I've been having a pair of wood ducks walk around my yard. They never stay past spring but I hope these houses help them to consider staying.
I needed a pair of benches for helping to put on shoes by the main entry doors in the house. I decided to make my benches based on the steampunk design after seeing a vendor at the MN State Fair with their steampunk furniture.
A continuation of my steampunk furniture. I needed end tables that were the height of my couches and had more space. These turned out better than I expected.
I built these houses for a couple of reasons. Growing up my grandparents built bird houses and so I'm carry on the tradition. Also, Bluebirds eat a lot of bugs.
